報名截止日期是2013 年4月25日。沒有名額限制, 但只挑選28名入圍參加晉級賽。
The registration deadline is April 24th 2013. There’s no limit on the number of applicants, but only 28 semifinalists will be accepted after interview. |

This is the common concern among the candidates who are college students. The preliminary round is on June 1st, and after that is the intensive training. Therefore, it should not have any conflict with your school schedule and you should have more than enough time. However, you should still register early, so you could be interviewed early for determination of whether or not you are selected for the preliminary round. Then, you should have a clear guideline afterwards. If you are not selected after the interview, then it should not affect your other arrangements of your summer vacation. Can I participate if I live outside of New York?

可以, 只要你在美國本土有連續居住12個月或以上的證明。
Yes, as long as you can provide proof of that you have lived in the United States for twelve (12) consecutive months or longer.

這是個每年都會出現的問題。假如你有幸進入初賽或總決賽, 我們將會盡力幫助你解決住宿問題。 解決方案將取決於一共有多少人有這個要求，然後我們會依個案處理。 方法包括單租或合租房間。
This is the one of the major concerns every year. If you are selected as the semifinalist or finalist of the competition, we will do our best to help you solve the accommodation problem during the competition. Depending upon the number of requests, we will come up with different solutions, and we will provide you the best one based on your needs. We will provide you choice of single occupancy or share accommodation.

How long in advance should I prepare in getting a Chinese Visa with a Passport?

獲晉級總決賽的佳麗, 將於七月一日出發前往中國, 有關簽證由選美會統一代辦, 但你必須在六月五日前遞交有效護照, 照片等有關資料.
All finalists will departure to China on July 1st. The committee will apply China Entry Visa for all contestants. Therefore you must submit a valid Passport along with your photo before June 5th

面試是否可以由家人或朋友陪同參加?
Can I have a companion for the interview?

可以陪同到場, 不能陪同面試。 如未足18歲者, 則全程須由監護人陪同進行。
You may bring a companion on the day of the interview. However, your companion can not be present during the interview unless you are under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, your legal guardian must be present for the whole interview process.

假如萬一我無法隨團出訪中國或其他國家, $3,000的差旅費能否退回.
If I am unable to travel outside of the country for any reason, will I get a refund of the $3,000 travel expense in which was paid up front.

扣除航空公司和其他相關旅程安排的罰款後, 餘額可以退回。 但必須在登機前七日提出, 否則分亳不能退回。 假如你確定無法隨團出訪, 將會以退選處理。
If you are unable to travel for any reason, we will consider that as a request of dropping out from the competition. We will deduct all necessary reservation penalties from your $3000 upfront payment of travel expense, and the remaining amount will be refunded. However, your request must be received by the committee seven (7) days before the departure date. Otherwise, we will not be able to refund you your travel expense.

入圍後, 是否每天都要參加培訓和其他活動?
How many days in a week are required for training and participate for other activities?

入圍佳麗基本上每周三天, 決賽佳麗每周四天, 選美會給每一位參賽者和所有工作人員, 提供準確的活動時間表. 包括集體活動和小組活動.
Schedules will be set for three days in a week for semifinalists and four days in a week for finalists. We will provide you and the crew members a detailed schedule for all activities.
