Hello everyone! My name is Shangchi Chen, and you can call me Luna.

I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Technology and Aging at the University of Southern California (USC). Originally from China and now studying in the United States, I have had the opportunity to experience different cultures, perspectives, and ways of life. These experiences have shaped my passion for communication, storytelling, and building meaningful connections across communities.

I enjoy public speaking, singing, traveling, surfing, swimming, and content creation. To me, every story has the power to inspire, and every meaningful conversation has the ability to bring people closer together.

Studying abroad has taught me resilience, adaptability, and the confidence to embrace new challenges. It has also reinforced my belief that true beauty is not defined by appearance alone, but by kindness, courage, authenticity, and the positive impact we leave on others.

Participating in the Miss Chinese Beauty Pageant is more than a competition for me—it is an opportunity to grow, connect, and represent the confidence, intelligence, and influence of modern Chinese women.

Through this platform, I hope to share positive stories, promote cultural understanding, and inspire others to pursue their dreams with confidence.

My dream is to build a career in media and entertainment, using storytelling and creative communication to bridge cultures, inspire positive change, and empower people to pursue their aspirations with confidence.

目前就讀於美國南加州大學（USC）應用科技與老齡化理學碩士課程。來到美國求學，讓我有機會接觸不同文化、不同觀點和不同的人生故事，也因此培養了我對溝通、表達與內容創作的熱情。我相信真誠的交流能夠拉近人與人之間的距離，而故事則擁有改變和啟發人心的力量。我熱愛演講、唱歌、旅行、衝浪、游泳以及內容創作，希望透過作品分享正能量與有意義的人生體驗。海外求學的經歷讓我學會了獨立、堅持與成長，也讓我更加相信，真正的美不僅來自外表，更來自善良、勇氣、真誠以及對社會的正面影響力。參加美國華裔小姐競選，對我而言不僅是一場比賽，更是一個突破自我、結識朋友以及展現新時代華裔女性風采的平台。我希望透過這個舞台分享更多正面的故事，促進不同文化之間的理解與交流，並鼓勵更多人勇敢追尋自己的夢想。未來，我希望能夠投身媒體與娛樂領域，成為連結不同文化的橋樑，透過創意與故事傳遞溫暖與力量，為社會帶來更多正面影響。
