Hello everyone!

My name is Ivy Zeng, Contestant No. 2, and I’m so happy to be here today.

I come from the beautiful coastal city of Xiamen, China—a place with sunshine, beaches, and incredible food. In fact, it’s probably one of the reasons why every diet plan eventually fails!

If I had to describe my life in one sentence, I would say: I have been leveling up by moving across different maps.

Why do I say that?

I was born in China, then moved to Australia to study Business, and later came to the United States for graduate school. Looking back, my life has been a journey of crossing oceans and constantly adapting to new places, cultures, and experiences.

My career path has been just as interesting. When people ask me what I do, I usually tell them to guess three times, because my jobs don’t seem to fit into one category.

I worked at a global advertising agency, where I helped plan marketing campaigns and pop-up events for Oreo in China. While everyone else was shining on stage, I was usually backstage with a walkie-talkie, trying to solve problems and track down missing staff members.

Later, I studied broadcasting and hosting, and had the opportunity to host radio programs and public events. Even when I felt nervous inside, I learned how to appear calm, confident, and professional on the outside.

Today, I am an educator. So sometimes even I get confused about my identity. Am I a teacher? A host? Or an undercover agent sent by an advertising company?

But no matter where I have lived or what role I have played, I have always been doing the same thing:

Connecting people. I love meeting people from different backgrounds, exploring new fields, and stepping outside of my comfort zone. I guess that makes sense for someone who has crossed oceans—from China to Australia, and from Australia to America.

I’ve always believed that beauty is more than appearance. Beauty is an energy. It’s the feeling when you walk into a room and people want to listen to your story, get to know you, and connect with you.

So today, I’m not here to be the most perfect person.

I’m here to be the most authentic version of myself—someone who is genuine, inspiring, and brave enough to keep stepping beyond her comfort zone.

我來自美麗的海濱城市廈門 有海有沙灘 同時這裡也是一個讓人一直減肥失敗的美食之都。如果要用一句話形容我的人生 大概是一直在跨地圖升級

為什麼這麼說呢 首先 我出生於中國 後來又跑去澳洲讀商科 再後來來到美國讀研究生 回看我的人生履歷 我是一個跨過洋 一直在搬家的人

我的工作經歷也有點豐富和精彩 別人通常問我做什麼的 我都會讓他們猜三次 因為我的工作都有點分裂 我在4A廣告公司負責過奧利奧在中國的推廣和pop up活動策劃 做這個的時候 我是讓別人閃閃發光 然後我自己在幕後拿著對講機 尋找聯絡失踪人員

再後來 我學了播音主持 是主持過很多電台節目 即使心裡有點緊張，表面也要看起來雲淡清風的表現

現在我又是教育工作者 所以說有時候我都懷疑我自己的身分 到底是老師 還是主持人 還是廣告公司派來的臥底呢

無論在哪個國家哪個地方 我其實都在做一件事

讓人和人產生連結

我喜歡認識不同的人 接觸不同的領域 跳出自己的舒適圈 這也很make sense 畢竟我是跨過洋的人

從中國到澳洲 又從澳洲到美國

我一直覺得，美不只是外表，而是一種能量，一種你走進一個空間，別人會想聽你說話、想認識你、連結你的感覺

所以今天站在這裡，我不是想做「最完美的人」，而是想做一個 最真實、最有感染力、敢於突破舒適圈的人。
