Hello everyone, my name is Ya Wen Lin from San Francisco, California. While the Bay Area may be known for its cold weather, I always strive to bring warmth, energy, and positivity wherever I go and onto every stage I step on.

I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Digital Media, and currently work in the social media and experiential marketing space. I am passionate about expressing creativity through storytelling, content creation, and building meaningful connections both online and in person.

Growing up in San Francisco’s Chinatown, I was surrounded by stories of resilience, culture, and community, which deeply shaped who I am today. One of the most meaningful parts of my journey has been learning the Gu Zheng, a traditional Chinese instrument that keeps me connected to my heritage while teaching me discipline, patience, and emotional expression through music.

Through both music and media, I’ve learned that storytelling goes beyond words, it can be felt, shared, and experienced in many forms. More than anything, I hope to use my voice and creativity to help others feel seen, empowered, and confident in who they are.
