Hi everyone! My name is Lorraine Chan, and I am this year’s Contestant #5. I was born and raised in New York City, and my family is from Taiwan and Hong Kong. I am 21 years old, and I am honored to participate in the 23rd Miss Chinese Beauty Pageant. Although it is my first time competing in a beauty pageant, I am excited to step out of my comfort zone and take this opportunity to challenge myself, learn, and grow my confidence. I hope to showcase the best version of myself and inspire young girls to believe that anything is possible when they believe in themselves, work hard, and pursue their dreams! I am a rising senior at Hunter College, where I am double majoring in Childhood Education and Studio Art. My passions include teaching children, singing, dancing, playing the piano, baking, painting, and crafting. I would describe myself as bubbly and empathetic, and I deeply value the relationships I share with my family and friends. I am so grateful for this opportunity, and I look forward to making lifelong memories and seeing where this journey will take my fellow contestants and me.
