Hi everyone, my name is Margaret Lee 李慧明. I am a driven, kind, and creative individual who is passionate about music and acting. I trust that everything does happen for a reason, and I strive to live life with no regrets. I believe that one of my main purposes on this earth is to be a successful performing artist, and I’m very grateful as this platform has allowed me to get one step closer to that goal. This pageant will equip me with the strength and discipline needed to thrive in the entertainment industry. I believe that I can inspire and motivate others through my work, and I’m excited to represent what it means to be a confident and beautiful Chinese-American woman.

My short film touches on the psychological aspects of helping others, and how that spreads positivity into the world. I thoroughly enjoyed making this film, as I got to explore the small nuances of the city, and it reminded me of how simple it can be to choose kindness.
